The Cleveland Clinic Academy (CCA), launched in September 2006, offers professional development learning opportunities to Cleveland Clinic employees on main campus and at our regional facilities. The CCA leadership development curriculum provides a broad spectrum of courses in leadership, education and business for Clinic Staff, residents, fellows, academics, nurses, medical students, and administrators with a Master's degree and above or 3-5 years of supervisory experience.

Year-to-Date Academy Update:
During the past 2.5 years, Cleveland Clinic Academy has provided competency-based curriculum in leadership and management to over 1,730 Clinic Staff, residents, fellows, academics, nurses, medical students, and administrators with a Master's degree and above or 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience. 1,029 of these participants are unique attendees. From 2008 to 2009, the Academy has realized a 61% increase in attendance, thereby attesting to the value-added component of the overall curriculum.
The increase in participant attendance has been paralleled by increased satisfaction with the course content and faculty. Participant satisfaction scores rose to an all-time high in 2009 with an average score of 4.62 on a 5-point Likert scale with 5 being “highly agree.”
Thank you for your support of the Academy and its programs. As the curriculum continues to evolve, we hope Clinic employees will contuinue to participate in our leadership and management opportunities.
