EDUCATION FAIR - An Inaugural Event for CCHS

 

Start the New Year With a New You: Commit to Lifelong Learning & Wellness

 

 

All Clinic employees are invited to participate in our Inaugural Cleveland Clinic Education Fair taking place at the main campus and four regional hospitals. The goal of the Education Fair is to generate awareness of all the educational opportunities available to over 39,000 Cleveland Clinic Health System employees.

 

LOCATIONS & TIMES: Designed for the convenience of all employees regardless of shift, week days and/or weekend:

  • Main Campus - December 10, 2009, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM & December 11, 2009, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Great Hall & Glickman Lobby
  • Hillcrest Hospital - January 12, 2010, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Ross A, B & C
  • South Pointe Hospital - January 15, 2010, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM in West Wing 1 & 2
  • Euclid Hospital - January 19, 2010, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Waltz Auditorium
  • Fairview Hospital - January 22, 2010, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Atrium

According to our Executive Chief Nursing Officer, Sarah Sinclair, as the Nursing Institute evolves, and strengthens our reputation as an internationally respected center for nursing excellence, we know our continued growth and accomplishments depend on the skill, knowledge and care of our workforce.  We are committed to your development and encourage you to explore all the opportunities presented at our inaugural Education Fair.  It's fun, it's free and it's for you!  Please join us.

 

 

 

Dear Colleague,

In the spirit that the mission of the Clinic is “care of the sick, investigation of their problems, and more teaching of those who serve,” the Education Institute is committed to serving the educational mission of the Clinic and to reaching its many educational audiences. To this end, I encourage you to attend the upcoming Education Fair on December 10-11, 2009, and January 12, 15, 19, and 22, 2010 in the Regions which will provide a showcase for you to learn about the many educational opportunities offered by our colleagues within the Clinic and by other important organizations in northeast Ohio. We hope that these opportunities will offer you just the opportunity to learn and grow that you have been seeking. I hope to see you there!

 INTERNAL PARTICIPANTS: Click here (Updated 11/15/2009) to view the list of 35+ educational groups from the Clinic who will be participating in the Education Fair. The personal growth and professional development of all Clinic employees are important to the Clinic. All Clinic employees are invited to spend time investigating the many educational benefits provided by the Clinic.

 

EXTERNAL PARTICIPANTS: To make it easier for Clinic employees to meet and speak with external educational organizations, the following schools will particiapte in the Educaiton Fair at the Main Campus and in the Regions. Come ask them about their programs! Updated 11/15/2009.

RAFFLE PRIZES: In order to promote the Educational Fair at all 5 venues and motivate employee participation, valuable prizes will be raffled. To qualify, Clinic employees will simply need to attend the fair, complete an evaluation form and insert the form in the raffle drum. It's that easy!
